The service
Invigil provides online examination delivery, live proctoring, AI-assisted observations and evidence review tools for institutions. Automated observations support human review; they do not independently determine misconduct or results.
Accounts and roles
Institutions manage their own staff and candidate access. You are responsible for the accuracy of candidate assignments and for the decisions your reviewers make.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt examinations, access another institution's data, or misuse monitoring capabilities. Candidates must follow the examination rules set by their institution.
Monitoring and evidence
Proctoring features operate with candidate consent and browser permissions. Monitoring quality depends on candidate devices and network conditions; Invigil does not guarantee detection or prevention of all misconduct.
Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not warrant uninterrupted availability. Institutions should plan examinations with appropriate technical safeguards.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
